DOCK 5

Welcome to the Dock 5 apartments website!

Dock 5 is one of Melbourne’s premium waterfront addresses.  Looking over Victoria Harbour in Melbourne’s Docklands, the building offers 30 levels of apartments, which are among the most highly sought-after residences in Melbourne.  Featuring spectacular views, larger than average internal space, sophisticated style and high quality finishes, they also boast a range of resident amenities (including 25 metre indoor pool, gym, covered parking and storage cages, communal BBQ and gardens and refrigerated wine cellar).

Perfectly positioned in the wonderful Victoria Harbour precinct, the building is only moments away from cafés and eateries along the promenade and Bourke St, and local services (including Woolworths, Australia Post and Library at The Dock).  Free trams up Collins St, and along Harbour Esplanade, Docklands Park, Marvel stadium and Southern Cross train station are only a few minutes’ walk away.

Building History

Dock 5 is named after the site's original maritime address.  The Lendlease project commenced in 2001 and construction was completed in August 2006 with the owners moving in from December 2006.  Dock 5 was one of the first new buildings (and the first residential tower) to be built in the redeveloped Victoria Harbour.

According to Skyscraper Centre (https://www.skyscrapercenter.com/building/dock-5/19797 Dock 5 is 96 metres tall, with 30 floors above ground, and 152 lots, 143 of which are residential and 9 are commercial.

Dock 5 redefines the concept of inner city living with its individually designed, personally tailored waterfront living spaces. Within each design, architectural craftsmanship abounds with no detail overlooked in terms of light or view, both inside and out.

Multi-award winning Master Architect John Wardle is the design inspiration: “Dock 5 finds its character by imagining life within the views beyond.” From the commanding facade to the most intricate finish, this unique structure is a collection of carefully considered elements. Every detail evokes luxury and classic quality. Every home is designed for the ultimate, individual lifestyle.

From the inside out, every home in Dock 5 reflects the mood of the Harbour. The ambience created by life and light, day and night and by Melbourne's ever-changing seasons.

Created with sustainable ecological design, standards are uncompromised in terms of engineering, build, materials and appointments. Dock 5 was the first residential building in Victoria Harbour to achieve a certificate of achievement under the Docklands ESD Guide
